Forum of Public Schools was established in 1985 with a vision to empower the forerunners in education. It was conceived by a group of visionaries, who believed that all educational programs and academic strategies should be built to open the gateway for the creative learning of students. The aim of the forum is to accredit the school principals and the teaching faculty by communicating and taking proactive steps to prepare them for the emerging global challenges. The Forum creates avenues for the professional development of the educators by organizing conferences, seminars, in-service teacher training programmes, community service, inter school cultural activities and career pathways. It has taken mammoth steps to design and deliver education by emphasizing on collaboration, creativity and innovation in teaching. The mission of Forum is to promote excellence in school leadership by setting high professional standards. It focuses attention on school leaders challenges, building pubic confidence in education and strengthening the role of the principal as an instructional leader. the objective of the Forum is to ensure that education continues to be recognized as a matter of national priority. The Forum also emphasizes to provide a focal point for networking and discussion amongst its member schools.
